Mission and Purpose
  • To contribute to the promotion of well being in our community.
  • To contribute to the relief from Poverty, Sickness, Isolation or Distress in our community.
  • To ensure, as far as we are able, that no one in our community feels trapped by reason of their physical, social or economic circumstance and that they are able to make a full, open and active contribution to the community in which they live.
  • To provide facilities and services for the delivery of the above that are considered by both users and funders to be excellent, which are open & free to the user irrespective of the their age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, marital or civil partnership status, race, religion or belief,  economic or social circumstance.
  • To contribute to making Westbury and its surrounding area a better place in which to live and work.
Our vision statement is that we are a local charity, founded on Christian values, which seeks to promote the wellbeing of local residents and contribute to the relief of those in need, irrespective of age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, race or religion.
The vision for Crosspoint originated from within the Churches in Westbury working together in response to statistical data and empirical evidence provided by (amongst others) Wiltshire Council, Government office and Pastoral observation on the levels of deprivation and social and economic isolation that exist within the town and surrounding area.
Although founded on Christian values, Crosspoint (Westbury) is independent of church influence and structures. It is wholly independent and is incorporated under the Companies Act 2006 as a Private Limited Company (No. 7433738) and is a "Not for Profit" organisation.
